How to create a ledger for a multi-sig address

A multi-signature address is an address that requires more than one signatures to authorize a transaction. If you provide NODE40 with the Extended public key for each party, we will create a fiat-denominated ledger for your transactions.

1. Log into your NODE40 Portfolio and click on + New Ledger.
2. Select a Source Select your multi-sig digital currency wallet type.
3. From the drop down box choose Multi-sig as your wallet type. 
   
   
4. Provide NODE40 with the following...
   1. EXTENDED PUBLIC KEY (XPUB) Enter a key for each party a signature is required.
      
   2. NUMBER OF SIGNATURES REQUIRED This wallet requires at least 1 signature.
   3. LEDGER NAME Optional. May be changed later.
      
      
5. Click the green create Ledger button.
