Creating a Bitfinex API Key

Log into your Bitfinex account and create an API key. Add your API and API Secret key to your NODE40 Balance account.

1. Click on Bitfinex's Manage Account icon and select API Keys.
   
   
   
   
2. Select the Create New Key drop down box, Label Your API Key and then Generate API Key.
   
   
   
   
3. Check your email for the subject line: Action required: Create API key. Confirm and create the API key by clicking CREATE API KEY.
   
   
   
   
4. Bitfinex will only show the Secret Key one time. If you leave this page and come back later it will not show the Secret Key. Make sure you save the key into NODE40 Balance before leaving this page. If you lost the “Secret key”, you may delete it and create a new API.
   Copy and paste your API information into NODE40 Balance to create your ledger(s) and view your transactions.
