The easiest and preferred method of importing your cryptocurrency trade data into NODE40 Balance is by using one of our exchange integrations. Some use an API with the exchange directly while others require you to upload a file downloaded from an exchange.
We add support for exchanges often but you may have an export from an exchange we haven’t integrated yet.
What is the NODE40 Custom Upload?
The NODE40 Custom Upload is a way to import trade activity from sources other than those supported natively on NODE40’s platform. It is a CSV file format with a set of headers that you can use to list your trades.
What Does NODE40 Need From me to Create my Custom Upload File?
In order for us to help you, we’ll need to following:
- The files you would like help converting into the Custom Upload format.
- Each file should include the name of the source. Example: If the file is an export from Exchange ABC, good files names would be:
- ABC-Deposits-LastName.csv
- ABC-Trades-LastName.csv
- ABC-Withdrawals-LastName.csv
Forgetting to include the name of the source (usually the name of an exchange) in the filename means we may have no way of knowing if the files you included are for exchanges that we support natively. NODE40 Customer Support is unable to help you until we can confirm the source and that you have provided us all the data needed, but we gladly will work with you to be sure we have all the information needed before beginning the Custom Upload assistance.
